LIL WAYNE – “Rollin” (Music Video) #ThrowbackThursday via @lisafordblog

“Rollin” is by far one of the hardest tracks from LIL WAYNE off of his “Sorry For The Wait” mixtape. The beat is beyond sick and Wayne’s flow sounds like one that he shot from the top of his head. He was just freestyling and wildin’ out and showing the world how much he loves Hip Hop. No autotunes, just Wayne with a rough & rugged MC voice. GUNPLAY from Maybach Music Group made the original version of “Rollin”. But Lil Wayne’s take on it sounds better to me.

DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING’s Face Will Be Carved On Stone Mountain! (VIDEO) via @lisafordblog

“DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —
A new push by a columnist at The Atlanta Journal Constitution will likely change the face of Stone Mountain.

AJC political columnist Jim Galloway says there’s a lack of material at Stone Mountain Park that speaks to its neighbors, who are primarily African-American.

On Stone Mountain, there are carvings of Confederate war heroes and a Confederate flag that flies next to an American flag.”

FREDRO STARR Devours KEITH MURRAY In Diabolical Rap Battle! A Fight Nearly Ensues! (VIDEO) via @lisafordblog

Before I get into this blog post, I must say that this is what Hip Hop needs…Diabolical Rap Battles featuring the latest and the greatest. Case in point…FREDRO STARR vs. KEITH MURRAY!

AmbrosiaForHeads writes, “After more than a year of hype, promotion, and anticipation, Keith Murray and Fredro Starr finally battled. The October 4 battle at Brooklyn, New York’s Milk River saw the two 1990s major label stars from their crews (Def Squad and ONYX, respectively) square off in a crowded boxing ring. Perhaps symbolically, the MC battle nearly became a physical tussle after the men—and referees struggled to manage the microphone—and each others’ personal space. The MC War event is captured on film, and features nearly 30 minutes of action—and not all of it is head-to-head rhyming. However, Heads can largely agree that it was Fredro’s night, in a battle that seemed to go as deep as its hype videos projected.”

RIHANNA’s Vanity Fair PHOTOS (1 Nude) & Interview Excerpts via @lisafordblog

A true Rockstar at heart, RIHANNA graces the pages in the November issue of Vanity Fair Magazine through incredible photography by world-renowned photographer, Annie Leibovitz. Rihanna takes over the streets of Cuba with her sex appeal before she goes nude in a private bedroom making this editorial racy and iconic. One of the images show Rihanna in the street with fans in Old Havana while posing alongside a 1959 Chevrolet Impala and 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II. I absolutely love it!

G-EAZY – “You Got Me” (Music Video) via @lisafordblog

FreeOnSmash writes, “Eazy Season is in full effect and G-Eazy‘s next move is a music video for “You Got Me,” as he prepares the follow-up album to These Things Happen. In the new visual, the Oakland rapper does the banging Southside instrumental justice by bringing his whole crew to the streets and local strip clubs. The song was originally released in July on Apple Music, along with the track “Running.”

DEJ LOAF ft. Big Sean – “Back Up” (Music Video) via @lisafordblog

FreeOnSmash writes, “It’s been three months since DeJ Loaf‘s debut #AndSeeThatsTheThing EP released back in July. One of the standout records from the project was the Big Sean assisted single “Back Up.” Today, the Detroit connection is brought to life through the release of the music video for the popular single. For the video, DeJ heads to the skating rink to host a party, where plenty of fun ensues. The Detroit player unfortunately doesn’t make it to the party, but does come through to deliver his verse with DJ Mo Beatz by his side.”
