Miami Rapper – STITCHES – Remixed Suicide Squad’s x Twenty One Pilots – “HEATHENS” (VIDEO) via @lisafordblog

One of the sickest songs out right now is “Heathens” by Twenty One Pilots off of the “Suicide Squad” movie soundtrack. The track is haunting, the lyrics are provocative, and it’s definitely an instant cult classic. So it would take a lyricist a lot of gull and courage to remix a song with nearly half a billion Youtube hits, but this didn’t stop Miami native, STICHES, from pulling off the task.

CHILDISH GAMBINO’s Newest Masterpiece “Me and Your Mama” (AUDIO) via @lisafordblog

Childish Gambino’s ‘Me and Your Mama’ appears on new album ‘Awaken, My Love!’ due next month.

Rolling Stone writes, “The six-minute, three-part song begins quietly and builds to a soulful, grooving affair with a female gospel-tipped chorus, before it ratchets up into a stomping blues-funk second passage where Gambino’s passionate vocals kick in. “Do what you want/ I’m telling you/ Let me into your heart/ Can’t stand it, backhanded/ They want to see us falling apart/ You know that I love you/ So let me into your heart,” he sings, eschewing rap in favor of a raw, intense approach.

Following the cacophonous midpoint, the song culminates with winding instrumentals, ushering in a cathartic ending to the sprawling composition.”

So Much Racism On CMA’s Website, They Deleted BEYONCE’s Performance #CMAawards50 Fail via @lisafordblog

Last year, during the Country Music Awards, I sent out a tweet about how I thought the genre, overall, was lame. Yep, I said it. I wrote that Country Music was lame. The backlash was vicious and I was attacked on Twitter for a few days straight. I was called every name in the book! LOL And I knew I would be. Why would I say something like that? For one, last year, some of the musicians were up on stage making negative comments about President Obama that I found disrespectful. AND because of the racist bullsh*t that’s happened around the 2016 CMA’s being reported today by TMZ.

TMZ: 2:45 PM PT — The CMAs have started repopulating its social media with images of Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks. The images were only posted AFTER they became aware we were working on the story. Even the Dixie Chicks, who rarely say anything in the media these days, are reacting to the controversy on Twitter.
