LIL WAYNE’S Dope BET CYPHER #HipHopAwards 2016 (VIDEO) via @lisafordblog

I'm pleased to see that the classic LIL WAYNE is back! Alongside Kevin Hart, aka Chocolate Droppa, I witnessed LIL WAYNE blow the Hip Hop community out of the water last night with his 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher. Check out Wayne in his natural state as a dope MC. He uses a few lines from his “Where Ya At” song off his No Ceilings 2 mixtape with DJ Drama doing the duties on the console. The beat is provided by none other than Metro Boomin.'

FREDRO STARR Devours KEITH MURRAY In Diabolical Rap Battle! A Fight Nearly Ensues! (VIDEO) via @lisafordblog

Before I get into this blog post, I must say that this is what Hip Hop needs...Diabolical Rap Battles featuring the latest and the greatest. Case in point...FREDRO STARR vs. KEITH MURRAY! AmbrosiaForHeads writes, "After more than a year of hype, promotion, and anticipation, Keith Murray and Fredro Starr finally battled. The October 4 battle at Brooklyn, New York’s Milk River saw the two 1990s major label stars from their crews (Def Squad and ONYX, respectively) square off in a crowded boxing ring. Perhaps symbolically, the MC battle nearly became a physical tussle after the men—and referees struggled to manage the microphone—and each others’ personal space. The MC War event is captured on film, and features nearly 30 minutes of action—and not all of it is head-to-head rhyming. However, Heads can largely agree that it was Fredro’s night, in a battle that seemed to go as deep as its hype videos projected."

Watch: 2PAC, Grand Puba, and Treach’s CYPHER!! (Rare Video) via @lisafordblog #MusicMonday

First I have to mention that Grand Puba's "2000" should go down in the rap history books as a sheer classic album. I stand by that statement and I don't care what all the hip hop heads say lol. I've been debating Puba's status as a 'legend' for years in social media platforms, so to present this video with him, the greatest of all time, PAC, and Treach, comes with great honor. AmbrosiaForHeads writes, "Back in 1992, before the East Coast/West Coast beef was in full effect, Treach, Tupac and Grand Puba found themselves together backstage and decided to have an impromptu cipher. The moment was caught on tape and has made the rounds over the years, but it’s still amazing to see the three legendary MCs together rhyming just for the sport of it. Each MC flows with aggression, a cappella. Check it out."
