Classic Hip Hop,  Music Video

DJ PREMIER & Buckshot Lefonque “Breakfast At Denny’s” [Video] dir by Spike Lee

This highly artistic and urban grimey video is in reference to the racial segregation at Denny’s restaurant during the 90’s. Towards the end of the video, there’s of short clip from the Jay Leno Show describing one of the discriminating incidents… Hence the reason why Spike Lee directed this masterpiece, because he was always a pioneer using  films as a mirror and display of racial tensions in our country. Package Spike Lee with one of the dopest producers in Hip Hop history – DJ PREMIER – and jazz musician Buckshot LeFonque, and you have a super sick classic >>> “Breakfast At Denny’s”.

The music, which includes original turntable scratching, and a political statement that plagued our ghetto youth shows the original intentions of Hip Hop music…which is to spread messages through an artform created by those oppressed  for the purposes of forward movement and positive change. It is music that infiltrates the soul and posted to bring us back to our hip Hop roots.
