VA Rapper, Pusha T gave the crowd exactly what they wanted…a dope ass performance!! He started off with a verse from the Clipse’s “Grindin”, his 2002 Neptunes produced hit. He later jumped into a verse from the “Popular Demand (Popeyes),” another Clipse song, before moving into Kanye West songs “So Appalled” and “Runaway” off the “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” album. Finally, Pusha T moved onto songs from his charged up mixtapes, including the Drake diss song, “Exodus 23:1”. In the interview, Pusha T detailed the producers and special guests fans can expect on the upcoming solo album debut, titled “My Name Is My Name”.

Everyone waited with much anticipation for the supercharged hyped Rapper, 2 Chainz, who was ‘accidentally’ 20 minutes late!! No prob! He all of a sudden explodes on the stage performing his scene-stealing “Mercy” verse, but only after his DJ had prompted the crowd to rap the entirety of Kanye’s part. He went on to perform “Beez in the Trap” minus Nicki Minaj; and dropped “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” minus Juicy J and Lil Wayne. Then the elated moment came… when 2 Chainz hit em’ hard with his oh-so popular “Birthday Song”. A joyous song, for a joyous occasion, at one of the world’s most celebrated music festivals!

For all of you who are into that whole ‘Gangnam Style’ craze, South Korean ‘rapper’, PSY, brings you Part 2 of the madness. The title of the song is “Gentlemen’, and through PSY’s cult fans, it’s sure to be just as big of a hit as ‘Gangnam Style (which received over 1.5 BILLION youtube hits).

The music video for “Gentlemen,” mimics “Gangnam” and its much-loved antics. The video co-stars GA, a wildly popular K-Pop singer from girl group ‘Brown Eyed Girls’ (‘Gentlemen’ is inspired by her 2009 hit “Abracadabra”). Throughout the video, PSY is initially acting like a crazy jackass, until GA shows up and gives him a taste of his own medicine. Nice.

In the song “U.O.E.N.O,” Ross raps: “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it. I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.” “U.O.E.N.O.” is lifted from rapper, Rocko’s latest mixtape.

Reebok released a statement on Thursday announcing it had severed ties with Ross.

“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand,” the statement read. “Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse. At this time, it is in everyone’s best interest for Reebok to end its partnership with Mr. Ross.”

Jay Z responds to his critics who were displeased with his and Beyonce’s trip to Cuba, with a powerful new song titled, “Open Letter”. Jay Z still has his hunger from when he first started, which is why I, and millions of others love his music. On top of that, the beat goes HARD!

KILLER MIKE’s, “Villian”, will appear on the upcoming, much anticipated video game, “Injustice: Gods Among Us”. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, WaterTower Music and DC Entertainment aren’t releasing the soundtrack to the upcoming video game until April 16th. Thanks to the Facebook group, “The Hip-hop spot.all hip-hop,all the time” for sharing Killer Mike’s new single with LisaFordBlog.com now.

We’ve all seen the photos, now here is a video of Beyonce and Jay Z touring the streets of Cuba. The AP writes, “Beyonce and Jay-Z caused a big stir in Havana as they marked their fifth wedding anniversary. R&B’s power couple was mobbed by dozens of well-wishers at the renowned restaurant La Guarida and police had to step in to keep the crowds at bay. Check out this raw video from the scene.”

This is beyond brilliant! Artist Jay Shells channeled his love of hip hop music and his uncanny sign-making skills towards a brand new project: “Rap Quotes.” For this ongoing project, Shells created official-looking street signs quoting famous rap lyrics that shout out specific street corners and locations.” Photos are captured by Animal New York.
