On May 19, 2012, at the Malcolm X Block Party in New York City, rappers & poets came together to celebrate the life of the revolutionary leader known as Malcolm X in uptown New York City.

Prodigy (Mobb Deep), Papoose, Lord Jamar (Brand Nubian), Amanda “Diva” Seales (poet & journalist, formerly of Floetry), & Immortal Technique all spoke about Malcolm X’s positive influence on their lives & their careers.

The Malcolm X Block Party was sponsored by The Source Magazine.
