Ambrosia For Heads writes, "On the heels of becoming the biggest selling singles artist of all-time, Rihanna is not resting on her laurels. Not one to play it safe, she releases the visuals for her boundary pushing song, “Bitch Better Have My Money.” With the same theme of the song, the visual is a story of bloodlust (literally) for someone who has wronged Bad Girl RiRi, financially. The video features blood, abduction, torture and a fair amount of nudity. Needless to say, this is not remotely safe for work."
"I didn't come up with the concept, but I'm very sorry and take full responsibility if it has offended anyone," says Nicki Minaj. "I'd never condone Nazism in my art" The Anti-Defamation League drew negative attention to Nick Minaj by blasting her new animated music video over the weekend and accusing her of mimicking Nazism through imagery showing soldiers in red arm bands, Minaj as their dictator, and the "Young Money logo has been compared by some to a swastika". The organization's director, Abraham H. Foxman – a Holocaust survivor – called it "a new low for pop culture's exploitation of Nazi symbolism." According to Rolling Stone, "Foxman condemned the video not just for its imagery, but for the tactlessness of releasing the video on the 76th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass" pogrom in which tens of thousands of Jews were brought to concentration camps and more than 1,000 synagogues were burned, signaling the beginning of the Holocaust."
It's being reported that Death Row Records founder, SUGE KNIGHT, was shot 6 times during a MTV VMA Awards party hosted by Chris Brown at LA club 1 OAK last night. "Shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, a shooting occurred at 1OAK nightclub in the 9000 block of Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood where two men and a woman were wounded, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said in a statement provided to the Daily News. The suspect remains unknown, but the victims include a 49-year-old male, widely reported as music producer Marion (Suge) Knight, as well as two unnamed victims, a 32-year-old male and a 19-year-old female. All the victims were transported to local hospitals and are expected to recover. While the 25-year-old R&B singer is said to have been the intended target, it was Knight who took the heat along with the two other victims, reports TMZ."
