Juvenile joins forces with TheSource.com and together, they release his hot new mixtape “Juvie Tuesdays”. Juvie’s new project is a compilation of music he’s been dropping on his weekly ‘Juvie Tuesdays’ series, alongside newly published material in general. Celebrity features on the mixtape include old Cash Money label mates, Lil Wayne and Birdman, veterans like Juicy J, Kidd Kidd and many more. There will be more installments of ‘Juvie Tuesdays’ in the coming weeks and a brand new highly anticipated album in 2013.
KELLY ROWLAND – ICE (Explicit) ft. Lil Wayne – MUSIC VIDEO
‘ICE’ by Kelly Rowland is one my favorite joints out right now. The song (and video) is sexy, steamy, and romantic. I also like how she threw the rap verse in the middle of the song then keep on going after Lil Wayne’s part. Lil Wayne is not in the video though.
Peter Rosenberg’s (HOT 97) Response To Lil Wayne On “Respect for Women” (VIDEO)
Doesn’t seem like this tug-of-war between Hot 97 and Young Money’S (Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj) is ending anytime soon. It all began when Lil Wayne instructed Nicki to pull out from her performance at New York’s Hot 97 Summer Jam in lieu of a comment their DJ, Peter Rosenberg, made about one of Nicki’s songs. He felt that her music selection was alittle too ‘pop’ for their hardcore Hip Hop crowd. Young Money felt that Rosenberg disrespected Nicki by criticizing her song before she was set to perform. Nicki and Wayne also added that Rosenberg’s comments were disrespectful to women in general. This is Rosenberg’s response. Take a listen….
FunkMaster Flex vs. Nicki Minaj (Audio) .. But Do We Really Care?
In my opinion, this conversation should not have had to happen between Funkmaster Flex of Hot 97 and Nicki Minaj. It all went down last night when Lil Wayne pulled the plugged on YMCMB members performing at the HOT 97 Summer Jam in lieu of some negative comments made by Peter Rosenberg at the radio station regarding one of Nicki’s pop songs. Sh#t, I’m already tired of writing about this drama. Rap and Hip Hop needs to be about the music, the culture, the streets, the battles, the fans, and the poetry, not about melodrama. I’m disappointed with this whole situation. Nicki Minaj should have took to the stage. Period. Forget what the haters have to say. You have to have thick skin. And flex should have stayed out of it. Cause at the end of the day, die-hard Hip Hop fans just don’t give a damn. All we care about is the music.
PUSHA T – “Exodus 23:1″ (VIDEO) & Lyrics – Drake Diss
“Do not spread false reports..Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness.” Exodus 23:1 — Pusha T is swinging hard at Lil Wayne and Drake. A lot of music fans are saying that Pusha T’s latest video Exodus 23:1 is one of the sickest diss videos ever..he kills it. Digital cinema verite at its finest with images that stick to its hardcore Hip Hop roots. Could Pusha T be Hip Hop’s savior?
Lil Wayne returned shots, but nothing hardcore enough to mention. Even when Pusha T was with The Clipse, they have always been about that life, kicking out music that represents the founding principles of rap. I have to give it to Kanye West on this one, he did a GOOD thing by signing Pusha T to GOOD Music. This post also includes a video of an earlier Pusha T interview in which he addresses his beef with Drake.
DJ Khaled – “Take It To The Head” Ft. Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne – (Official Video) Dirty
I remember when DJ KHALED was out here DJ’ing in the clubs on South Beach and running the underground radio station, Mix 96fm Miami. He’s been hustling for a long time, (remember his small cameo appearance in the cult film, Shottas?) and I must say, he has came a long way.
A couple of things about the video I noticed… Khaled and Rick Ross now look alike, beard & weight, both have the same style. 2nd, there are no sistas in the video. When will these rappers start acknowledging black women and employing them in starring roles? Chris Brown killed it! Wondering how this is Khaled’s song and not his. But in spite of all of that, Khaled’s “Take It To The Head” is as dope as all the other songs he’s produced.
Lil Wayne Professes His Love For TRINA!! (Video)
Lil Wayne got on the mic and shouted out that he still loves rapper Trina at Club LIV in Miami 5/13/12. I usually don’t get into artist’s personal lives on this site, but I’m posting this because Trina is one of our Miami’s own and we just wanna make sure that she ends up with the right person and is represented well. I think Trina and Lil Wayne would make a good couple…Trina would be good for his ‘gangsta’ image. Lil Wayne To Trina: “I Still Love You & I Miss You Baby!” Could it all be for publicity? Will these two rekindle their old relationship? Check out the video and see for yourself…
