Anne Frank: the only existing film images

Anne Frank's influence on the world can't be described in mere words. I was inspired to post this rare footage of her after watching the powerful film, FREEDOM WRITERS, last night…a true story about teenagers from different races & gang affilations coming together in one classroom and changing their lives when they learned about Anne Frank's story.

The teens, who lived in the most violent situations, were so inspired by Anne Frank's story of genocide, that they raised money to fly the lady who hid Anne from the Nazi's to California as a guest speaker. As I live out my dream as a Writer myself, these type of stories remind me to count my blessings~

DESCRIPTION: July 22 1941. The girl next door is getting married. Anne Frank is leaning out of the window of her house in Amsterdam to get a good look at the bride and groom. It is the only time Anne Frank has ever been captured on film. At the time of her wedding, the bride lived on the second floor at Merwedeplein 39. The Frank family lived at number 37, also on the second floor. The Anne Frank House can offer you this film footage thanks to the cooperation of the couple.
