Thanks to Lex @ Lex Promotions for inviting me to the Hennessy vs. The Chase - ft. Big Sean - industry party at Mansion nightclub on South Beach last Monday. I'm actually still recuperating from all the fun I had. Included in this blog post are pictures from the event and a video of Miss Kimmy's (radio personality from 99 Jamz) interview with Big Sean. I'd also like to thank Hennessy for one hell of an evening!

MITT ROMNEY’S God From Planet Kolob? Black People Are Cursed? *Psycho Alert*
I was watching a recent episode of HBO's 'Real Time with Bill Maher' and his guest, Walter Kirn, an ex-Mormon, gave us some insight on Mitt Romney’s religious practices. As I listened to Kirn, it made me realize Mitt Romney is a nut job….

Rick Ross – Hold Me Back (Nigeria) (Alternate Video) Explicit Lyrics
"The Untouchable Maybach Empire presents the alternate version of Rick Ross' "Hold Me Back" music video directed by DRE Films and Maybach Films shot in Nigeria." I think this was a creative and unique concept for a rap video. It's great to see artists dig deeper when it comes to the images they present in their videos.

Missy Elliott ft. Timbaland – “9th Inning” & “Triple Threat” (New Music!!)
Missy Elliot is back! Alongside producer extraordinaire, Timbaland. "9th Inning" & "Triple Threat" are their first two singles after being missing in action for a while. Both are the epitome of Hip Hop and we are all excited about what's to come. Missy 'Misdemeanor' is considered one of the best female MC's of all time, and judging by these singles, she probably always will be.

2Pac RARE AS FUCK FREESTYLE (VIDEO) RIP
2PAC freestyling to "Gettin' Money". He was killed today 16 years ago and still remains highly relevant...even moreso than most MC's on the market today. He's still my favorite rapper, probably always well be. 2pac is the best R.I.P.

Libyans Apologizing To Americans (PHOTOS) & Video of US Ambassador who was killed. RIP
"Four American workers died Tuesday in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Violent protesters were using mob guns and rocket propelled grenades to demonstrate against an unflattering film about Muhammed in development in the U.S. (A similar protest erupted in Cairo, though no serious damage was done to the embassy building there." - Buzzfeed

LUPE FIASCO – “Bitch Bad” VIDEO! (I apologize for posting this late!!)
I love Lupe Fiasco for making this song. 'Lupe takes on the dichotomy of how the word “bitch” and how it is used by society today.' Lupe has always been a conscious and political rapper who has worked to persuade a culture to move away from negativity. It's a sad day when guys like him don't want to make rap music anymore. Lupe took to Twitter after beefing with some ignorant rappers (not gonna mention their lame names on my blog) and decided that his…

"Barack knows the American Dream because he’s lived it…and he wants everyone in this country, everyone, to have that same opportunity, no matter who we are, or where we’re from, or what we look like, or who we love," Michelle told the delegates assembled in Charlotte, N.C. on September 4th. She went on to say, "For Barack, Success is not about how much money you make, it's about the difference you make in people's lives."

NAS & SCARFACE Perform “Hip Hop” Live at Rock The Bells 2012 {Footage}
This weekend, Nas performed at the Rock The Bells tour in New Jersey. He surprised the audience when he brought out Texas rap legend, Scarface. Together, they performed, "Hip Hop" (off of DJ Khaled's - King The Ring- album), for the time in Hip Hop history. Anything Nas does musically, is synonymous with true concept of Hip Hop and rap, so this live performance of this particular hit, will probably be the first of thousands. Especially with Scarface in the mix.
