If you haven't copped DENZEL CURRY's "Nostalgic 64" album already, the you're missing out. One of my favorite cuts off the album is "Zone 3", a record about police brutality. Not only do I love the concept of this song and the fact that Curry reps my city - Miami, but I find it fitting to post this cut now because of all of the madness involving the recent murders of unarmed black men by over zealous police in this country.

2014 is already starting off great! The Hip Hop ruler, JAY Z, kicked off his first 'Magna Carter World Tour' show of the year on Thursday in, yes, you've guessed it, MIAMI! The concert included a live performance with Ricky Ross, the boss, for their collabs; “Devil Is a Lie” and “F*ckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt.” Backstage, Jay was joined by Diddy, French Montana, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, and Yo Gotti. NAS & SCARFACE Perform “Hip Hop” Live at Rock The Bells 2012 {Footage}
This weekend, Nas performed at the Rock The Bells tour in New Jersey. He surprised the audience when he brought out Texas rap legend, Scarface. Together, they performed, "Hip Hop" (off of DJ Khaled's - King The Ring- album), for the time in Hip Hop history. Anything Nas does musically, is synonymous with true concept of Hip Hop and rap, so this live performance of this particular hit, will probably be the first of thousands. Especially with Scarface in the mix.
