TUPAC – A Rare Video You Probably Never Saw. #PacsBirthday via @lisafordblog
The Tupac biopic, "All Eyez On Me", directed by Benny Boom, dropped today to commensurate the legacy the iconic rapper. The filma also served as birthday gift to his fans as Pac's birthday is today, June 16th (Pac would have been 46 years old). I'm a die-hard fan and I'm personally nervous about watching the film because I hold a very nostalgic view of Pac that I don't want ruined (even though I don't think that's possible). In previous blog posts, I did publish the…

TUPAC Freestyling Over Snoop Dogg’s ‘Gz and Hustlaz’ (Rare Video) #RIP
20 years ago we lost a special soul, Rapper, Actor, Poet, Revolutionary, ICON, TUPAC SHAKUR. 2Pac is the reason why I even have this blog as his influence on me has given me courage to follow my dreams. Writer Kevin Powell says Tupac is more than a rapper. "When we think about Tupac Shakur ... not just in hip-hop but popular culture, in America and globally, you have to think about Elvis Presley, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, Bob Marley," Powell says. "It's that…

2PAC “All Eyez On Me” (Movie Trailer) via @HipHopOrgy #HappyBirthdayPac
Rolling Stone: The upcoming Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me traces the cold reality of the fallen hip-hop forebear, and his rise from poverty to the highest echelon of fame. The film will be released on November 11th, just a couple months after the 20-year anniversary of the icon's assassination on the corner of East Flamingo and Koval in Las Vegas.

TUPAC Freestyling on the Streets of New York, Runs into Music Bootleggers (Rare VIDEO) via @lisafordblog
My mother says every time she checks out my blog she sees TUPAC! Yes Ma'am! And today's post is dedicated to this rap legend because Pac would have turned 44 today if he wasn't gunned down in Las Vegas over 18 years ago. Pac will always be a dominant feature on this blogspot because in my opinion, he is the #1 Pioneer of Hip Hop. Couple that with the fact that I'm still in mourning over his death. I will never get over 2pac because…

BIGGIE SMALLS – “Party & Bullshit” (Original Video 1993) @LisaFordBlog ‘s IPOD Pick
As a Hip Hop head, I know you already have BIGGIE's 'Party & Bullshit' in your music catalog. In my opinion, this is Biggie's best song. It epitomizes delivery, BIG's deadly flow, and flawless timing. Believe it or not, this was his first track ever which was released as the fourth promotional single for the soundtrack to the 1993 film 'Who's the Man?'. The irony? ... The best way to describe most of today's music is this song's title. ;-) R.I.P B.I.G. He would have…

THE GAME ft. Dej Loaf – “Ryda” (Music Video) via @lisafordblog #MusicMonday
This ain't so bad, but damn I miss the style of Documentary and Doctor's Advocate. I want the Game from The Documentary back...his style back then was way better. Check out the video and tell me what you think. FreeOnSmash writes, "Since its premiere last month from producer DJ Skee, Los Angeles rapper The Game has officially dated his long-awaited sequel for The Documentary to drop this summer. Serving as the first single for the project, Chuck Taylor called up Detroit rapper DeJ Loaf to…

Watch: 2PAC, Grand Puba, and Treach’s CYPHER!! (Rare Video) via @lisafordblog #MusicMonday
First I have to mention that Grand Puba's "2000" should go down in the rap history books as a sheer classic album. I stand by that statement and I don't care what all the hip hop heads say lol. I've been debating Puba's status as a 'legend' for years in social media platforms, so to present this video with him, the greatest of all time, PAC, and Treach, comes with great honor. AmbrosiaForHeads writes, "Back in 1992, before the East Coast/West Coast beef was in…
