CASSIE – “King Of Hearts” {New Music} Official VIDEO

I’m a little surprised that Cassie is busting out with techno music verses the R&B sound that I’m used to…but then again, I’m not. At this point in the game, Cassie has to come strong enough to compete with Rihanna who is dominating the pop/hip hop mixed genre right now, so I think Cassie is doing a cross between Rhi Rhi and Brittany, which works well for her…I think.

Christopher Sims, a director best known for shooting rock acts like OneRepublic and Lady Antebellum, directed Cassie‘s video for the King Of Hearts, and according to The Boombox, her fashion in the video can be compared to Aaliyah’s. They think the images she’s presenting is a reference to her most recent nude photo scandal and that her ‘king of heart’ may be Diddy. I’m just glad Cassie’s back behind the mic again. Hopefully she does another collab with Ryan Leslie as they made good music together.
