In regards to Yo Gotti’s lyrics in M-TOWN, “Nigga this and Nigga that” was played out with N.W.A. BUT this southern funky Memphis beat is why Yo Gotti made the list for this week. Rappers from Memphis don’t come out with much music, but when they do, the sound pierces your soul. M-Train brought that stank nasty FUNK that keeps me addicted and pressing Rewind~

The reason why I posted this ole school track for my top picks of the week is because I’ve been rocking it in my IPOD, and nothing else I’ve heard this month or have been sent, can knock it out the box or off the list. So Cheer’s to Tupac who continues to remain relevant even today. LIFE GOES ON tells a passionate story and the lyricism can’t be beat~
