I remember watching her as PRINCESS LEIA in the STAR WARS films and telling myself that Fisher was a symbol of strength and girl power. This woman spoke openly about mental illness and helped so many people. Carrie Fisher wasn't just Princess Leia, she was a phenomenal human being.

Congratulations to TUPAC SHAKUR for being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. According to Rolling Stone magazine, artists are eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first album or single. 2017 is the first year legends, Pearl Jam and Tupac Shakur were eligible. They are also the first artists to join the institution who started their careers in the Nineties.

I've collected a few videos from Twitter for this blog post. E! News reports that Kanye met with Trump “to discuss a potential role for the rapper,” according to an unnamed source. They reportedly discussed West “becoming an ‘ambassador of sorts.’” E! News reports the source as saying “Trump is interested in getting West involved in an ‘entrepreneurial leadership role.’” E!’s source contradicts TMZ, saying that it was Trump’s camp who requested the meeting, not Kanye’s.
