KENDRICK LAMAR’s New Album ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ (Album Stream) !!

Kendrick Lamar has one of the sickest albums ever in #HipHop #ToPimpAButterfly. Hypetrak write, "Looks like Kendrick Lamar's sophomore album "To Pimp A Butterfly" has been released on iTunes and Spotify way earlier than its anticipated March 23 date. The reasons of the early release are not currently clear, but TDE honcho Anthony Tiffith seems to be unhappy about it and took to Twitter to blame Interscope for the apparent mess-up. The album features guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Ronald Isley, Rapsody, Thundercat, James Fauntleroy, Bilal, and Anna Wise. "

KENDRICK LAMAR Freestyles to Notorious B.I.G. Classics! (VIDEO) & Album Cover Art via @lisafordblog

"Democrips and Rebloodicans. Sick Kenny, sick.," one youtuber wrote after viewing this video. A video that serves as proof that KENDRICK LAMAR defines Hip Hop through and through. And right now, Hip-Hop is blessed. Kendrick and Wale will come out with releases in the same month. It's good to see this happen with all the trash that's been killing Hip Hop last year. J Cole got that last second drop which pretty much announced real hip hop is back. Sean dropped last month. Kendrick's and Wale's albums drop this month. If only Drake's new album/mixtape wasn't trash. Hopefully Macklemore don't go completely pop either like his singles. If his new album is like the rest of the stuff on 'The Heist' that would be great. Also included in this blog post is the artwork from KENDRICK's upcoming album, "To Pimp A Butterfly." Already slated to be a classic album, it drops March 23rd.

@LOGIC301 – ‘5 A.M.’ (Audio & Video) @Lisafordblog’s IPOD Pick #HipHop

LOGIC is the best rapper of 2015 in my opinion. His latest album, "Under Pressure" defies logic because there is an heavy emphasis on raw lyricism in the lackluster new-school genre. "5 A.M.' is the 5th track on Logic's 'Welcome To Forever mixtape' and was titled as such because he wrote it at 5 in the morning. The beat and flow blows so hard, it puts you in a meditative state and sends you into a metaphorical shock from knowing that you are listening to something too incredibly dope to describe.

RUN DMC Is Bringing The House Down!!! In Miami Gardens #JITG via @lisafordblog

RUN DMC's influence on Hip Hop is stronger than the Earth's gravitational pull. After their reign, there is no where in the Universe any rapper would exist if RUN DMC hadn't pulled the trigger and fired out the most iconic music of our lifetimes. We're talking gangster flows with rock-hard horns over game-changing sound & production. Now the Supermen of rap have landed at the world famous JAZZ IN THE GARDENS music festival on March 21st & 22nd at the SunLife Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. Come out and experience what will be one of the greatest moments in Music this year.

RAZ SIMONE – “Baby Jesus” (New Music) via @lisafordblog

Nah Right, "RAZ SIMONE continues to exhibit very little chill when it comes to releasing his new music. Just days after dropping his provocatively titled 'Macklemore Privilege & Chief on Keef Violence' project, he delivers the title track from his next album, Baby Jesus. This is dope."

SNOOP DOGG ft. Charlie Wilson – Peaches N Cream (Prod. by Pharrell) New Music! via @lisafordblog

Music Times writes, "Snoop Dogg is currently prepping the release of his thirteenth studio album BUSH, which was produced by Pharrell Williams and is due out May 12. Today the 10-track album became available for pre-order on iTunes and Snoop dropped his first single "Peaches N Cream," featuring Charlie Wilson. In addition to Wilson and Pharrell BUSH will also feature an appearance from Stevie Wonder."

The 2015 JAZZ IN THE GARDENS Line Up! & Throwback Footage of TEENA MARIE’s Performance! (Video) via @lisafordblog

Out of all the music festivals I (and staff) attend each year, by far the JAZZ IN THE GARDENS music series is my all-time favorite! The City of Miami Gardens, Florida treat us each year with performances from legendary musicians and amazing international cuisines. And dare I say that the 2015 JAZZ IN THE GARDENS Line-Up is even better than imagined? Check this out! In the house will be the tantalizing ERYKAH BADU, Hip Hop Icons - RUN DMC, the bad boy of R&B - R. KELLY, the very sexy TONI BRAXTON, super hot MAXWELL, the baddest drummer in the world - SHELIA E, and the list goes on! As a special treat, in this blog post, I've included a short video of TEENA MARIE performing at Jazz In The Gardens back in 2010. This performance is special to me because I had a chance to see Teena live one last time before she passed away. And that's what JAZZ IN THE GARDENS is all about. Creating memories and great experiences that will last a lifetime. Out of all the places in the world, the Jazz In The Gardens Music Festival is the one place you need to be March 21st & 22nd in Miami Gardens, FL.
